Prologue The Unsinkable II pitches and rolls in dark sea swell a few days south of Double Cross. The weather is terrible, you have been battered by a winter storm since leaving the harbour. Sensible folks are supping drinks in the rowdy taverns and alehouses back on the Island. As the Unsinkable II lurches down one massive wave and up another, you are asking yourself if you really need the money. Somewhat celebrities in town now, you have enjoyed pats on the back and toasts from the locals, even the urchins have come up with a nickname for you. They have been calling you ‘The Dragons’. Maybe it’s because of the tailored armour Sven made you or his shutting up shop after the last fitting to ‘have it large’ around town with his recently acquired horde of dragon’s gold. Either way, the pet name has caught on, and you have been swaggering around enjoying the newfound fame. Dexter, the rum baron, wants you to retrieve his strongbox from the Emperor of the Waves.
