Double Cross

Double Cross Double Cross is a frontier town, a coastal island in the Sea of Geraint, roughly halfway between the Humanoid metropolis of Highport and Zol Cavar, City of Sorcerers.   To the east, The Pirate Isles, to the West the trackless swamps of The Sinking Lands. In recent times Double Cross has thrived under the leadership of the charismatic Mayor Savage, Savage is entrepreneurial gnome who has transformed a few fishing villages into the bustling frontier town. Double Cross is a trading centre.   The Brethren trade, refit and parley here, (Pirates of the Isles refer to themselves as the Brethren and follow ‘the code’).   Rare spell components from the Sinking Lands are purchased by Zol Cavar (particularly the black powder found in the lava pits).   A myriad of watering holes and gaming houses cater to the passing trade.   Double Cross has a number of mainstream operations; trade, entertainm...

The Island, Finale Date 596 Freeday, 21st Sunsebb. Crew (Player characters) Aias (M, G, Cleric 5) Artemis (M 1/2E, Warlock 4) Bastille (M 1/2E, Bard 4) Cole (M, FG, Fighter 5) Garrick (M, H, Fighter 5) The crew of the Unsinkable II emerge from the archives of the Temple after a long rest.   Refreshed they agree to set out for the dark Island. But they have to deal with a grimlock ambush first. The sightless creatures dealt with they use a raft to reach the shore.   The coarse black earth of the orchard is riddled with pale white worms.   The trees are all but leafless, twisted black branches claw up toward the unseen sun pitifully.   At the end of each row of thin basket, Garrick takes another black apple from the basket.   Torches light either side of the staircase that leads to a great theatre.   The Medusa’s lair.
